Our host families play an important role in engaging our students in a cultural exchange.

As a host, you will:

  • Earn between £95 & £170 per week
  • Meet new people from around the world and experience different cultures
  • Introduce students to British life and culture
  • Receive friendly and professional support from our team

Your students will be able to:

  • Make friends for life

Accommodation Types

What do you need to provide:

  • A warm, furnished bedroom with a bed, wardrobe and/or drawers, a desk (or somewhere they can study quietly)
  • Laundry facilities, clean towels and bedding every week
  • Bathroom facilities (so the student can have a bath or shower every day)
  • Only one student of each mother tongue at a time
  • Wireless broadband connection

We offer our students two types of homestay accommodation:

Accommodation with meals

This is where you provide students with their own room, use of bathroom facilities, a good breakfast and evening meal every day (with lunch at the weekend) as well as natural speaking practice.

Self-catering Accommodation

This is where you provide students with their own room, use of bathroom facilities and kitchen facilities for them to cook and prepare their own food.

Hosting Students Under the Age of 18

We are also looking for Homestay Hosts for our younger students who come throughout the year and during the summer. There is increased responsibility and requirements for hosting these students, however you will find these students particularly rewarding to host due to their motivation and enthusiasm.
