We believe that successful language learning is helped by regular socialising with your fellow students. At our college, we have a fantastic social programme that includes enjoyable and varied activities throughout the year at affordable prices.

Spinnaker tower in the City of Portsmouth

Portsmouth also has some great attractions and is a fantastic place to see some English history. We have local attractions such as Portsmouth Historic Dockyards, Spinnaker Tower, Southsea Castle, City Museum, Natural History Museum, Charles Dickens Museum and don’t forget our beautiful beach! The college organises trips to these places too.

Weekend Trips

Every one to two weeks we go on day trips to popular and exciting cities near the college. Destinations include London, Cardiff, Brighton, Bournemouth, Bath, the Isle of Wight, the New Forest and Bristol. A teacher guide will go with you and help you navigate the city and have a fantastic experience. Prices for these trips are between £12 and £35 depending on the city.
