Cardiff is the capital city of the British nation of Wales and an excellent place to study. There are many unique attractions, fine museums and galleries, fabulous nightlife and beautiful countryside outside the city. Cardiff is on the coast so the seaside is not far away.
Our building is right in the city centre and is very modern and comfortable with great facilities. Shops and entertainment facilities are very close to the college, so you will never be bored!
Students with an interest in history, literature and art will feel very welcome in Cardiff. The Welsh people are well-known for their friendliness and humour.
At TEG Cardiff we aim to provide more than just language classes. Our lessons are interactive and engaging and our social programme provides a fantastic opportunity to explore the best of UK culture.
We welcome all students into the TEG family, a multi-city community that supports and guides students in their journey to full language fluency.
To study English with TEG is to enjoy a rich cultural experience. We believe that successful language learning is helped by regular socialisation between students of many cultures and contact with local UK culture. All of our colleges have a fantastic social programme, with enjoyable day trips, fun events and exciting activities all year round.

The capital city of the Principality and Nation of Wales, Cardiff has a rich heritage and culture that rivals any major British city. The centre has superb shopping options in the Queen Street and St Mary Street, containing the largest shopping centre in Wales. There are all kinds of pubs, bars and restaurants and other nightlife in the city. Wales has its own language, but the commonly spoken language in Cardiff is English. However, you may enjoy seeing most street signs in 2 languages: English and Welsh. Cardiff Castle is a major tourist attraction in the city and is situated in the heart of the city centre. The Castle Quarter area includes some of Cardiff's Victorian and Edwardian arcades. There are several universities based in Cardiff, which helps to make the city fun and friendly.
