Our aim is to give our students the best possible English language-learning experience while enjoying British life and culture. We believe one of the best ways to do this is to live with one of our friendly and carefully chosen homestay providers. This is one of the most popular choices of accommodation as it allows students to feel at home in a new country and have the opportunity to practise their English in a relaxed and comfortable environment. It also helps students learn about British culture and customs, to get the most out of their stay in Birmingham, Bristol, Portsmouth or Southampton.
You will have your own private bedroom, which will contain:
You will have access to the living room, bathroom and laundry facilities. Please be respectful of these areas, ensuring they are left in the condition you found them.
All our homestay providers are inspected by TEG to ensure that they can provide the required service before we send any student to them.
For most students, we recommend homestay accommodation with meals. You will have your own room, use of laundry facilities, a good breakfast and evening meal every day (with a packed lunch at the weekend) as well as natural speaking practice. (Full-Board Accommodation is available for under 16s.)
Another option is self-catering homestay accommodation. This option is available to students over 18 years old and there may be less contact with the homestay provider but it provides students with more freedom to cook what they want, when they want.
