New for summer 2019 is our Residential Summer School from 7th July to 4th August in Southampton for 12 to 17-year olds. For over 10 years we have been providing our young learners with excellent English classes and afternoon activities designed to help get the most of their summer. Now we have combined this with residential accommodation and a full programme of activities to help students get a complete experience. After you finish a Summer School at TEG English, you should:

During the week students will receive 15 hours of fun, interactive English lessons. Classes will have a maximum of 15 students and will be taught by qualified and enthusiastic teachers who love teaching juniors.
Classes are designed to be interesting, motivating and effective and allow students to have fun while learning. In just a short time, students should feel that they are able to improve their grammar and vocabulary, as well as their skills such as speaking, reading, listening and writing.
Students will enjoy staying in modern, single en-suite rooms just 5-minutes walk from their classrooms. They will be staying in apartments of 4 to 6 bedrooms which share a kitchen and lounge area. Our TEG team will provide onsite supervision 24/7 as well as there being 24-hour security provided by the residence.
In their bedroom they will have a large single bed, desk and storage space for their belongings. Their rooms and the kitchen will be cleaned at least once a week. All bed linen and towels are provided and they will have access to coin-operated laundry facilities if then need to clean their clothes (at extra cost).
All students will have access to free Wi-Fi from their rooms and a common area with TV and playstation.
Continental Breakfast will be available in the student’s apartment kitchen every morning. A hot lunch will be provided every day apart from when on an excursion when a packed lunch will be given.
For the evening meal, a quality dinner provided every day at a local restaurant.
From Monday to Friday there will be afternoon activities such as Laser Quest, Scavenger Hunts, and Museum Trips.
On Wednesday Afternoon we will take students on an exciting excursion to a nearby city or amusement such as Portsmouth, an Aqua Park or the Zoo!
In the evening, students will have a range of activities such as bowling or cinema trips after dinner to have fun and practise their English with their other students.
At the weekend, students will be able to go on one or two city trips (depending on their departure time) to local sights or cities such as London, Bath, New Forest, Isle of Wight, Bournemouth, or Oxford.
